Description

Grapefruit Solis (Citrus Sunset) started as a riff on their popular San Diego-style India Pale Ale, Solis. However, unlike Solis, this beer does not feature the dynamic recipe formulation like Solis does. The brewers carefully selected hops and malts designed to provide the right backbone and complement to the 100% real grapefruit which is used in the beer. Whole hop cascade cones, Citra and Columbus hops are used, as well as a splash of Melanoidin and Vienna malts with the 2-row to create an thoroughly enjoyable citrus-explosion, juicier than the juiciest of east-coast style IPAs.
